P.B.I.S

PBIS, Positive Behavior Intervention Supports, is a proactive approach based on a three-tiered model of prevention & intervention aimed at creating safe & effective schools. Emphasis is placed on teaching & reinforcing important social skills & data-based problem-solving to address existing behavior concerns. PBIS is being implemented in thousands of schools across the country & has been demonstrated to reduce discipline problems & increase time for instruction.  

All 4 Southgate elementary schools & Davidson Middle School are PBIS schools.  Our Expectations are: Be Respectful, Be Responsible & Be Safe.  

Fordline celebrates good behavior by hosting monthly PBIS Reward Parties & special Assemblies throughout the year. 

Here at Fordline we have had a Rock, Paper, Scissors school-wide tournament, craft parties, and Zumba lessons, just to name a few!
